Terms of Service
1. What SLABS is
SLABS ("the service", operated by AJ Investment UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Germany) turns your PSA-graded trading cards into a digital collection: your slabs' own scans, presented with generated scenery, market estimates, binders and shared collections — on getslabs.io and in the SLABS iPhone app.
SLABS is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), Collectors Universe, The Pokémon Company, or Nintendo. "PSA" and card imagery remain the property of their respective owners.
2. Your account
You sign in with a Google or Apple account. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; you must be at least 16 years old, or have a guardian's consent.
3. Subscriptions
Browsing Discover and keeping wishlists is free. Building your own collection requires the SLABS Collector subscription, offered as a weekly or a yearly plan.
- Purchases in the iPhone app are billed by Apple to your App Store account; purchases on the web are billed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you buy.
- All plans are billed immediately and renew automatically until cancelled — in your App Store subscription settings, or from your SLABS account settings for web purchases.
- Cancelling stops future renewals; access runs to the end of the paid period. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.
- One subscription covers the same account on iPhone and web.
4. Your content and your cards
The cert numbers you import, the purchase prices, dates and tags you record remain yours. You give SLABS the permission needed to store, display and process them to run the service — including generating the artwork scenes your cards are staged on. Nothing here transfers ownership of your physical cards or their images to us, and deleting your account removes your collection data from the service.
5. Public and shared content
Cards on Discover are shown without their cert numbers. If you share a binder, wishlist or your collection, anyone with the link can view what you shared until you revoke it. You control whether purchase prices are visible to people you invite.
6. Market data
Estimates, population figures and sales histories are collected from public sources (such as PSA's public cert pages and PriceCharting) and are provided for information only. They can be wrong, incomplete or delayed. SLABS is not a valuation service, marketplace, broker or investment adviser, and nothing in the service is financial advice.
7. Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no scraping at scale, no attempting to access other people's vaults or cert data, no reselling access, no using the service to violate anyone else's rights or any law.
8. Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it fast and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we may change or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim; mandatory statutory liability (including under German law for intent and gross negligence) is unaffected.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. On termination, sections that by their nature survive (4–8, 10) continue to apply.
10. Governing law and contact
German law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules; mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. Questions: hello@getslabs.io.
